Ricardo Ruiz Monroy is PhD student in the International Research Training Group "StRATEGy" and holds master degrees in Geosciences, which he studied at the National University of Colombia with specialization in organic geochemistry and vitrinite reflectance measurements. He is staff member in the Organic Geochemistry section at GFZ Potsdam. He interested in hydrocarbon potential assessment in the Chaco Paraná basin in Argentina.
