Lic. Rodolfo Germán Aranda Viana

Rodolfo Germán Aranda Viana is a PhD student in the International Research Training Group StRATEGy-Arg and a staff member in the Geology working group at IBIGEO (Instituto de Bio y Geociencias del NOA). He's in a cotutelle program of the CUAA-DAHZ with the National University of Tucumán, the University of Salta and the University of Potsdam
He holds a diploma degree (licenciatura) in Geology from the University of Salta. His research focus is neotectonics and geomorphology of the Metán Basin and Candelaria Range in the Andes broken foreland, North-Western Argentina. This project involves a combination of field geology, geomorphologic, seismic interpretation and structural studies to characterize the recent deformation and the lasts stage evolution of the Andes broken foreland.
