Pablo J. Caffe is a principal investigator in the International Research Training Group “StRATEGy”. He is an independent researcher from CONICET and head of the Volcanology and Petrology group at INECOA (CONICET-UNJu), and Full Professor of Petrology in Jujuy University. His research focuses on the petrology of Andean volcanism and its relationship with tectonics and ore deposits. Currently, he is interested in the petrology and mineralogy of silicic magmatic rocks linked to different ore associations in the Puna plateau, as well as the role of magmatic-hydrothermal systems in Lithium mineralization in the Central Andes.
