Bio:
Robert (Bob) Trumbull is a principal investigator in the International Research Training Group "StRATEGy" and senior scientist in the Inorganic and Isotope Geochemistry section at the GFZ Potsdam. His research focuses on igneous petrology, geochemistry and economic geology of magmatic-hydrothermal ore deposits. He has worked for more than 20 years on various aspects of the Central Andes volcanic arc in Chile and Argentina. In the "StRATEGy" team he is investigating the origin of ore deposits related to magmatism in this region.
