Accreditation programs by the International Committee for Coal and Organic Petrology (ICCP)

We are happy to inform that the Ph.D. student Ricardo Ruiz successfully participated in two accreditation programs organized by the International Committee for Coal and Organic Petrology (ICCP):
These are the Single Coal Accreditation Program (SCAP) which is carried out in coals and the Dispersed Organic Matter Vitrinite Reflectance Accreditation Program (DOMVR), carried out in shales.
Both techniques serve to identify vitrinite and to measure its reflectance.
Ricardo Ruiz has officially gained accreditation in these two programs representing University Potsdam and the GFZ.
