"StRATEGy" PhD student Sibiao Liu will take part in the 14th International Workshop on the Frontiers of Computational Geodynamics. The annual meeting and workshop has been successively held since 2004 and attracts scientists from China and all over the world. The focus of this year's edition will continue to be on geodynamic computing, but there will be also contributions from all fields of theoretical and observational geophysics and computational mathematics.

In the framework of this workshop Sibiao will give a presentation of his studies and visit the Key Laboratory of Computational Geodynamics. The title of his talk is:
“Foreland uppermost crustal deformation in orogens: Numerical modeling and application to the Central Andes”
