News, portraits, and reports in the fields of teaching and research have been published in the supplements of the daily newspapers "Tagesspiegel" and "Potsdamer Neuesten Nachrichten".

The Potsdam University supplements features a unique qualification program for refugee teachers, a geologic research expedition to the Andes in NW Argentina, new findings in the field of evolutionary biology, and portrays the commitments of the 2015 Max-Planck-Research Award winner and renowned sociologist Bryan S. Turner at the University of Potsdam. Furthermore, two DFG-funded research training groups "StRATEGy" and "BioMove" will be introduced, as well as new start-up projects in the Potsdam region. The historians Iwan-Michelangelo D’Aprile und Jürgen Luh give insights in the new founded Research Center Sanssouci (RECS) and the Potsdam Graduate School reports of its new qualifications in the field of science management.
