"StRATEGy" meets school

We are happy to announce the visit of a class from the "Carolinum" College in Neustrelitz (Brandenburg) at the Institute of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Potsdam. The "Carolunim" College is member of the MINTEC (Mathematics, Informatics, Nature Sciences, and Technology Excellence Cluster) network. The visit is part of a physics and geography excursion lead by school teacher Tobias Schoel. In the morning the 11th grade students will visit the Alfred-Wegener-Institute on the Telegrafenberg and be welcomed guests during the "StRATEGy" opening ceremony afterwards. During the day the students will get an insight into the daily life of a scientist and experience what it means to work as researcher in geoscience.
